Ah yes....the phrase that was so perfectly delivered by Chris Sarandon(pictured) as Jerry Dandridge in the classic 1980s horror/comedy, "Fright Night". I was up late on a Saturday night at home by myself one night(very rare occurence) and this film came on. There is so much 1980s flare that it's ridiculous! I really enjoyed the characters and the premise in the story. Average, geeky high school student, Charlie Brewster, begins to suspect that his new neighbor is a vampire. No one believes him, not even the police. In desperation, he even attempts to contact one of his heroes, a Vampire Killer/TV Host named Peter Vincent (Think of the host from Creature Feature). If you haven't seen the film, please do. It's really something else. Well, the reason I bring this film up is because the remake is set to come out soon(August 19, 2011) starring Colin Farrell and Anton Yelchin. The movie trailer for the remake is starting to grow on me actually. Maybe Farrell can meet the awesomeness of Chris Sarandon's interpretation of the character?
