Great News though!! I've been a big fan of "Blade Runner". They can do so much with improved special effects. I wouldn't mind a story in the same setting as the 1982 film.

Another "Blade Runner" installment???!!!
UPDATE: Alcon Entertainment only has rights to make sequels or prequels so no remake will be happening. Looks like Ridley Scott will do the same thing to "Blade Runner" what he's doing to "Alien" right now.
Deadline is reporting that Ridley Scott is looking to return to one of his classics! No word on whether it'll be a sequel, spin off or 'cousin' like he is quasi doing on the "Prometheus" (set in the "Alien Universe")film he is shooting.
