"Hugo" Trailer - A Martin Scorsese Film

I don't know what's happening but it seems like a flood of high profile movie trailers have been coming out of the wood work. This film here is actually a welcomed departure from usual Scorsese subject material. I actually really liked the mystery/thriller "Shutter Island" and this family/fantasy film looks very promising. Scorsese is putting his foot in different genres and that just goes to show how talented he really is. To see the magic, see below and enjoy.

"Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows" trailer!

Okay, after viewing this trailer I have to say this looks fun but I'm afraid this could be A LOT like the first one and in a bad way. If you loved the first film, which I did explicitly, this seems to be with the same formula and jokes. I may be judging too soon but I hope the core of this film mirrors the last. When I say that, I mean I hope that this isn't just an adventure/action pic and that Holmes and Watson's relationship drives the film and not the action doing the driving. Substance over story. You get me, right?

If you enjoyed the last film which had Sherlock as a more action oriented titular character, then this appears, from the looks of it, in the same vein. This time around the sequel will focus on Professor Moriarty which is being played by Jarred Harris("Mad Men"). The film also costars the very talented Noomi Rapace("The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo") and Stephen Fry.
