'Wonder' Woman

So the director(Nicolas Winding Refn) of the controversial "Bronson","Valhalla Rising" and the upcoming "Drive" with Ryan Gosling wants to make a Wonder Woman film and states he wants none other than 36 year old actress, Christina Hendricks. Hendricks is the vuluptuous star of the hit series "Mad Men" on AMC. Though people may complain about her age, I don't see it as much of a problem. As long as she looks great, she's franchiseable, which is almost guaranteed what studio executives will be looking for. Yeah, she's only 5'7" and Wonder Woman is known for being tall but who really cares? She looks and sounds the part. However, I must say even if she got super toned for the potential movie, her jugs would still be extremely noticeable. Not a real complaint. Let's be honest here.

NBC filmed the pilot episode of Wonder Woman and then ultimately decided to not air the show stating that it didn't fit into their programming. Though the director,Refn, has not had any offers from studios, this is a clever way to gain ground and attention to potentially developing a feature film. This is good because Wonder Woman deserves her own film.
